The Leano 52 Chandelier by Sean Lavin is a modern chandelier of five ribbed glass cylinder shades hung from a star of slim brass arms. It is 52 inches wide and 42.5 inches tall, and it comes in Bronze or Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass.
The Design Story
Sean Lavin drew the Leano series around a contrast: straight, angular brass lines against soft, rounded cylindrical shades. The glass is precision-cut with fine ribs that soften the light and add a subtle detail. Visual Comfort describes it as a sophisticated statement for spaces from dining rooms to bathrooms.
Why You'll Love It
Leano 52 is made for a dining table, a kitchen island, a breakfast room or an entry where you want a wide chandelier with a light touch. It is 52 inches wide and hangs from 49.7 to 108.7 inches, so it works in a standard room and in a taller one. Five E12 candelabra bulbs light the ribbed glass, and it dims on ELV and Triac dimmers.
Built for Damp Locations
Leano 52 Chandelier is ETL listed, and Visual Comfort lists it for indoor damp locations and outdoor spaces under cover, such as a covered porch or an open-air pavilion. The frame is brass and the shades are glass. Bulbs are not included.

Where It Shines
Over a dining table, a kitchen island, a breakfast nook, an entry, or a covered porch or patio.
Who This Is Not For
Leano 52 is 52 inches wide and its hang range starts at 49.7 inches, so it is not for a low ceiling or a small table. It weighs 46 lbs, so it needs a properly supported ceiling. Bulbs are not included.
Questions We Hear Most
How big is the Leano 52 Chandelier?
The fixture is 52 inches wide, 52 inches deep and 42.5 inches tall, with a 5 inch round canopy.
How low or high can it hang?
Visual Comfort lists a minimum hanging height of 49.7 inches and a maximum of 108.7 inches. It ships with rigid stems, four at 12 inches and two at 6 inches, and 72 inches of wire, so you can set the drop to suit the room.
What bulbs does it use?
It takes five E12 candelabra T6 bulbs, and bulbs are not included. It dims on ELV and Triac dimmers with compatible dimmable lamps.
How do I choose between Bronze and Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass?
Bronze is a deep, dark finish that stays quiet against the ceiling and lets the ribbed glass stand out. Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass is warmer and golden, with a softly aged look. Pick the one that matches the metal in your room.
How much does it weigh and what support does it need?
It weighs 46 lbs, so it needs a ceiling structure rated for that load. Have a qualified electrician confirm the support before you order.
Can I use it outdoors?
Visual Comfort lists it for indoor damp locations and outdoor spaces under cover, such as a covered porch or patio. It is not for fully exposed outdoor use.
Why We Love It
Leano 52 sets five ribbed glass shades on a clean star of brass and lets the light soften through them.
