Lajos 67 Chandelier by Sean Lavin for Visual Comfort

The Lajos 67 Chandelier by Sean Lavin is a brass chandelier with elongated arms and solid crystal cylinders in measured proportion, each cylinder etched to spread light evenly and powered by fiber optics. At 67.3 inches across and only 8.7 inches tall, it is the largest of the three sizes. It comes in Bronze or Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass.

The Design Story

Visual Comfort describes the Lajos series as elongated arms and solid crystal cylinders arranged with measured proportion. Sean Lavin etched each crystal so it spreads the light of the fiber optics evenly across the form. Visual Comfort calls the result disciplined minimalism, balancing material integrity with technical clarity.

Why You'll Love It

Lajos 67 is the expansive size, and Visual Comfort suggests great rooms, large dining areas and open-plan interiors. Ten slender arms reach 67.3 inches across but the fixture is only 8.7 inches tall, so it spreads over a big table or a wide room without hanging heavy. Visual Comfort says each crystal element is powered by fiber optics and etched to spread the light evenly. It dims on 0-10V, ELV and Triac dimmers.

Built for Damp Locations

Lajos 67 Chandelier is ETL listed, and Visual Comfort lists it for indoor damp locations and outdoor spaces under cover, such as a covered porch or an open-air pavilion. The light sources are integrated LEDs, so there are no bulbs to replace.

Where It Shines

Over a large dining table, in a great room, in an open-plan living and dining space, in a wide entry or in a lobby.

Who This Is Not For

Lajos 67 is 67.3 inches across and weighs 48 lbs, so it needs a room and a ceiling box of matching scale. It gives a soft, decorative glow of 110 lumens, so it is not a main light, and you should plan other lighting for tasks. For a smaller room, choose the 50 or 39 inch size.

Questions We Hear Most

How big is the Lajos 67 Chandelier?

It is 67.3 inches wide and deep and 8.7 inches tall. Choose it for a long dining table, a great room or an open-plan space.

How low or high can it hang?

Visual Comfort lists a minimum height of 15.9 inches and an overall height of 74.5 inches. It ships with rods in a matching finish, four at 12 inches and two at 6 inches, so you can set the drop to suit the room. It can go on a sloped ceiling up to 30 degrees.

What light source does it use and how does it dim?

It has a dedicated LED source, and Visual Comfort says each crystal element is powered by fiber optics and etched to spread the light evenly. It delivers 110 lumens at 2700K and 90 CRI and uses 15.2 watts, so it is a soft decorative glow. It is rated for 50,000 hours to L70 and dims on 0-10V, ELV and Triac dimmers.

How do I choose between Bronze and Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass?

Bronze is a deep, dark metal tone that draws the arms as a graphic line. Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass is warmer and golden. Pick the one that matches the metal in your room.

How much does it weigh and what support does it need?

It weighs 48 lbs, so it needs a ceiling structure rated for that load. Have a qualified electrician and your installer confirm the support before you order.

Can I use it outdoors?

Visual Comfort lists it for indoor damp locations and outdoor spaces under cover. It is not for fully exposed outdoor use.

Why We Love It

Lajos 67 draws ten long arms and crystal cylinders across the room and lets the fiber optics glow in a clean line.
