Zinc Square Ottoman by Angie Thornbury
Zinc is the plainest form in the Z-Line, and that is its strength: a 30 in square, 17 in high block that matches the seat height of the Zig chairs.

Meet the Designer
Designed by
Angie Thornbury, ASID/CID
La Fête Design is the brainchild of Angie Thornbury, ASID/CID, and is made in Valencia, California.
Her work is drawn as soft, rounded, modular forms, each one meant to read as a shape in the landscape before it reads as furniture.
The Design Story
Flat top and straight sides let it sit flush against benches, serving as footrest, extra seat or, with a tray, a low table. Where other pieces curve, Zinc is the steady geometry that lets them stand out.
La Fête is Angie Thornbury's collection of curved, mixable, reconfigurable pieces, built so that one form can be a lounge today and part of a larger composition tomorrow.
Why You'll Love It
- Made in Valencia, California; arrives fully assembled
Made for Real Life
- With a 30 by 30 in footprint, leave at least a walkway width on each side when placing it before seats.
- Its 17 in height matches the 17 in Zig seat, keeping a mixed row level.
- At 22 lb one person can move it; add a tray to use it as a table.
- Match the chairs' vinyl color, or contrast it for a deliberate accent.
- The brand states this piece cannot ship by FedEx Ground; delivery is a scheduled special delivery arranged with the factory.
Wipe with mild dish soap and warm water, then rinse with clear water. For a stubborn mark, use a soft brush with a gentle non-abrasive cleanser and light pressure, because abrasive products can dull the vinyl's protective finish. The brand also sells its own vinyl cleaner and conditioning cream, and a damaged or outdated cover can be replaced.
Worth knowing
- Buyers who need back support
- Projects that need a published weight rating or lead time
- Layouts needing a corner shape or rounded top; see Zest or Z-Dot
- Anyone wanting a hard, table-height surface
