La Fête Design is the brainchild of Angie Thornbury, ASID/CID, and is made in Valencia, California.
Her work is drawn as soft, rounded, modular forms, each one meant to read as a shape in the landscape before it reads as furniture.
The Design Story
Without arms the forms can sit shoulder to shoulder, in a row along a wall, facing across a table or paired with the line's ottomans, so the arrangement follows the architecture rather than the other way around. The surface is a lightly textured, leather-like marine-grade vinyl.
La Fête is Angie Thornbury's collection of curved, mixable, reconfigurable pieces, built so that one form can be a lounge today and part of a larger composition tomorrow.
