Meet the Designer
Designed by
Angie Thornbury, ASID/CID
La Fête Design is the brainchild of Angie Thornbury, ASID/CID, and is made in Valencia, California.
Her work is drawn as soft, rounded, modular forms, each one meant to read as a shape in the landscape before it reads as furniture.
The Design Story
The Tide is the largest lounge in the collection, drawn for a pair, so its pillow had to be drawn to match: one long, soft roll that runs across the whole head end instead of two small cushions that wander apart.
Angie Thornbury designs La Fête as pieces that can be mixed and matched. The Tide Pillow follows that idea. Keep it the color of the lounge for a calm, single shape, or choose another for a stripe of contrast.
Why You'll Love It
- Spans the full 54 in width of the Tide lounge
- Eleven colors to mix or match with the lounge
- Soft yet sturdy structural foam core, waterproof yacht-grade vinyl cover
- Easy to maintain, and the cover can be replaced
Made for Real Life
- Sold on its own; the Tide lounge is ordered separately
- Dimensions come from the brand drawing: 54 in long, 9 in wide, 6 in high
Wipe with mild dish soap and warm water, then rinse with clear water. For a stubborn mark, use a soft brush with a gentle non-abrasive cleanser and light pressure, because abrasive products can dull the vinyl's protective finish. The brand also sells its own vinyl cleaner and conditioning cream, and a damaged or outdated cover can be replaced.
Worth knowing
- Single lounges; this pillow is sized for the 54 in Tide
- Projects that need a published weight; the brand lists none for this pillow
