La Fête Design is the brainchild of Angie Thornbury, ASID/CID, and is made in Valencia, California.
Her work is drawn as soft, rounded, modular forms, each one meant to read as a shape in the landscape before it reads as furniture.
The Design Story
With no frame or legs, the sculpture simply rests on sand, grass, deck or pool surround and lets the setting do the rest. The marine-grade vinyl cleans with a wipe, which is why the same shape suits a private lawn and a row of beachfront loungers alike.
What sets La Fête apart is the form itself: rounded, patented, and drawn to be approached from every side, then upholstered in Chill White, an open canvas for embroidery or slipcovers, or in ten further vinyl colors.
