La Fête Design is the brainchild of Angie Thornbury, ASID/CID, and is made in Valencia, California.
Her work is drawn as soft, rounded, modular forms, each one meant to read as a shape in the landscape before it reads as furniture.
The Design Story
In La Fête's modular system it plays the connector, working as a footrest beside a lounger, a low table between pieces or a corner seat for a daybed when a bolster rests on top. Its simple form lets the sculpted pieces around it take the lead.
La Fête is Angie Thornbury's collection of curved, mixable, reconfigurable pieces, built so that one form can be a lounge today and part of a larger composition tomorrow.
