Roll Bolster, Long Cylinder Accent by Angie Thornbury
The Roll is the quietest piece in the La Fête line: a slim cylinder, 72 in long and 8 in around, that gives a flat platform a defined edge.

Meet the Designer
Designed by
Angie Thornbury, ASID/CID
La Fête Design is the brainchild of Angie Thornbury, ASID/CID, and is made in Valencia, California.
Her work is drawn as soft, rounded, modular forms, each one meant to read as a shape in the landscape before it reads as furniture.
The Design Story
Laid along the back of a Moon Pad, across the side of a Sun Pad or at the head of a Crib or Cot, it adds a gesture of support without breaking the daybed's continuous, sculpted surface. It shares the pads' vinyl and colors, so it disappears or contrasts as you choose.
La Fête is Angie Thornbury's collection of curved, mixable, reconfigurable pieces, built so that one form can be a lounge today and part of a larger composition tomorrow.
Why You'll Love It
- Matches the 72 in base length of the Moon Pad and Sun Pad
- Collection family also includes a shorter B-Roll and an L-shaped bolster
- Made in Valencia, California, and shipped fully assembled
- Custom C.O.M. slipcovers and logo personalization can be arranged through the brand's sales team
Made for Real Life
- It is an add-on, and the pad is ordered separately.
- The 72 in length lines up with the pad base, so it sits across the Moon Pad's straight edge.
- Weighing about 10 lb, it is easy to reposition between layouts.
- Match the pad's vinyl for a calm mass, or use a contrasting color for definition.
- Availability of the B-Roll and L-Roll variants shown on the brand's sheets should be confirmed before ordering.
Wipe with mild dish soap and warm water, then rinse with clear water. For a stubborn mark, use a soft brush with a gentle non-abrasive cleanser and light pressure, because abrasive products can dull the vinyl's protective finish. The brand also sells its own vinyl cleaner and conditioning cream, and a damaged or outdated cover can be replaced.
Worth knowing
- Buyers who need a free-standing seat; the Roll is back or arm support only
- Projects requiring a weight rating, warranty term or lead time, none of which is published
