La Fête Design is the brainchild of Angie Thornbury, ASID/CID, and is made in Valencia, California.
Her work is drawn as soft, rounded, modular forms, each one meant to read as a shape in the landscape before it reads as furniture.
The Design Story
Two contoured Wave chaise lounges face each other across a cylindrical Dot ottoman, while two Dash benches anchor the edges, all in one sculpted, rounded marine-grade vinyl so the grouping reads as a single quiet silhouette. It is drawn for an 8 ft by 8 ft cabana, and because every piece is a separate modular form, the arrangement can be reshaped when the day changes.
What sets La Fête apart is the form itself: rounded, patented, and drawn to be approached from every side, then upholstered in Chill White, an open canvas for embroidery or slipcovers, or in ten further vinyl colors.
