La Fête Design is the brainchild of Angie Thornbury, ASID/CID, and is made in Valencia, California.
Her work is drawn as soft, rounded, modular forms, each one meant to read as a shape in the landscape before it reads as furniture.
The Design Story
It is a half-round drum, 36 in wide, 18 in deep and 12 in tall, that lands on the pad's straight edge and finishes the silhouette. With pillows it reads as a soft back, bare it becomes a small tabletop, and either way it keeps the wall side of the Moon Pad as sculpted as the curved front.
The brand calls its world The Scene Outdoors: modern outdoor furniture drawn as sculpture first, then engineered for pools, decks, rooftops and sun rooms. Every piece is made in California.

Made for Real Life
- It is an add-on; the Moon Pad is ordered separately.
- Place the flat back of the drum on the pad's straight edge so it sits square to the wall.
- Dress it with pillows for a backrest, or leave it bare as a tray.
- At 7 lb, one person can move it between layouts.
- On a long run of pads, use more than one drum so the back stays continuous.
Wipe with mild dish soap and warm water, then rinse with clear water. For a stubborn mark, use a soft brush with a gentle non-abrasive cleanser and light pressure, because abrasive products can dull the vinyl's protective finish. The brand also sells its own vinyl cleaner and conditioning cream, and a damaged or outdated cover can be replaced.
