Cot Twin Daybed, Compact Resort Bed by Angie Thornbury
The Cot is the Crib in a smaller key: a twin-size platform, 36 in by 74 in, with the same soft corners and floating slab-over-base profile.

Meet the Designer
Designed by
Angie Thornbury, ASID/CID
La Fête Design is the brainchild of Angie Thornbury, ASID/CID, and is made in Valencia, California.
Her work is drawn as soft, rounded, modular forms, each one meant to read as a shape in the landscape before it reads as furniture.
The Design Story
Its size is its strength, since a row can follow a pool edge or a single bed can fit a terrace that a queen cannot. As part of La Fête's modular system, it can sit beside a Stand ottoman, join others under a cabana canopy or take a Roll or Lean as a back.
The brand calls its world The Scene Outdoors: modern outdoor furniture drawn as sculpture first, then engineered for pools, decks, rooftops and sun rooms. Every piece is made in California.
Why You'll Love It
- Top slab 6 in thick over a 30 in wide x 10 in high base, with 6 in corner radius
- Modular with the Moon Pad, Crib, Stack, Roll bolsters and the Stand ottoman
- Made in Valencia, California, and shipped fully assembled
- Custom C.O.M. slipcovers and logo personalization can be arranged through the brand's sales team
Made for Real Life
- Allow a 36 x 74 in footprint plus room to step around.
- The brand describes the Cot as the twin-size version of the Crib.
- The brand states this item cannot ship by FedEx Ground and is delivered by scheduled special delivery. It arrives assembled, so check door and gate widths.
- Add a Stand as a side table or ottoman, and a corner bolster, Roll or Lean for a back, as the brand's sheets show.
- For a cabana, arrange Cots and Stands as a platform and finish with bolsters.
- Use one vinyl color throughout, or contrast the bolsters.
Wipe with mild dish soap and warm water, then rinse with clear water. For a stubborn mark, use a soft brush with a gentle non-abrasive cleanser and light pressure, because abrasive products can dull the vinyl's protective finish. The brand also sells its own vinyl cleaner and conditioning cream, and a damaged or outdated cover can be replaced.
Worth knowing
- Anyone who needs a queen-size surface; look at the Crib
- Buyers who want a framed bed with legs and a mattress
- Projects needing a published weight capacity, warranty term or lead time
