Drawn by Namik Ozkaynak for sohoConcept, the Hudson C End Table treats a end table as something to be looked at as much as used, built around a white Carrara marble top on polished steel. The construction is contract grade, so it is as suited to a busy restaurant as to a dining room.
The Design Story
Since 2000, sohoConcept has worked from one idea: strip a piece back to what matters, then build it to last. That clean-lined language is equally at home in a residence or a hotel; the studio's furniture has been specified for W Hotels New York, Aloft Brooklyn and the Delta Hotels in Toronto.
Inside, the end table is built on a polished (bright) stainless steel, C-shaped. Namik Ozkaynak designed the Hudson for sohoConcept and offers the one silhouette on a choice of bases and heights, so the same design can carry from a dining room to a kitchen counter or a lounge.
