The Design Story
The stem Gordy keeps everything that makes it special and puts it on tailored hardware. Assemble the stem sections to the height you want and the swivel canopy lets it hang plumb from a slope. A black steel dome with abstract cutouts at the crown and a champagne-gold foil lining: focused light below, a silhouette above. Besa is best known for blown glass, but the Gordy is all metal: a spun steel dome, abstract cutouts, a gold foil lining and a factory in Ohio that inspects every fixture before it ships.
