With the Falcon Pyramid Wood Swivel Stool, sohoConcept and sohoConcept in-house design team set out to make an everyday stool feel tailored: an upholstered shell on solid wood pyramid base. The construction is contract grade, so it is as suited to a busy restaurant as to a dining room.
The Design Story
sohoConcept was founded in 2000 around a short brief: design down to the essentials, and let long-term durability and quality show through a clean-lined form language. The same pieces are made for homes and for contract interiors, and the studio's work has furnished W Hotels and the Paramount Hotel in New York, The Atlantis in the Bahamas and the CN Tower in Toronto.
Inside, the stool is built on an one molded plywood shell, fully upholstered. The base is swivel hub on four splayed solid wood legs with metal footrest ring; beech in walnut finish or natural ash with chrome footrest, or solid American walnut with a white mechanism and chrome footrest or a black mechanism and gold footrest. The Falcon Pyramid Wood Swivel Stool comes from sohoConcept's in-house design team and is built to the same contract standard as the rest of the collection.

Living With It
Clean leather-look and leather seats with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a little mild soap, then dry them. Vacuum woven fabrics with a soft brush attachment and blot spills straight away; never rub. Keep wood away from direct heat and sun, and dust it with a dry cloth. Wipe metal with a dry microfiber cloth; skip scouring pads.
