ET2 Soji LED Glass Lantern Pendant Light

Soji is a lantern of rounded Satin White glass, topped with Gold hardware and hung from a thin Black cord. The taller versions stack soft pebble-shaped glass forms one above another.

It comes in 6 versions: 2-Light Short, 2-Light Tall, 2-Light Wide, 13 in, 18 in and Single 27.5 in. The finish is Black / Gold. Glass: Satin White.

The Design Story

ET2 draws Soji from the purity and grace of traditional Japanese lanterns. Sculpted Satin White glass diffuses a warm glow while suspended within bold two-tone frames of Gold and Black, and the collection includes pendants, sconces and portable lamps in varied silhouettes with a soft contemporary look.

The 13 inch, 18 inch and single versions have a built-in LED, and the 2-light versions use two G9 lamps that are included. We suggest a dry microfiber cloth for the finish and no spray cleaners.

How long is the cord on the Soji, and can I set the hanging height?

Cord length is 120 in, which gives a maximum overall height of 131 in (2-Light Short and 2-Light Wide), 133 in (2-Light Tall), 135 in (13 in), 140 in (18 in), 150 in (Single 27.5 in). The shortest hang is 12 in (2-Light Short), 13.5 in (2-Light Tall), 10.5 in (2-Light Wide), 15.75 in (13 in), 19.75 in (18 in), 30 in (Single 27.5 in), so it can work over a low surface as well as in a taller space.

How much light does the Soji give?

Delivered output is 760 (2-Light Short, 2-Light Tall, 2-Light Wide and 13 in), 930 (18 in), 1300 (Single 27.5 in) lumens, with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 90.

Will my dimmer work with it?

ET2 lists the dimming as Dimmable (2-Light Short, 2-Light Tall and 2-Light Wide), Triac or ELV (13 in and 18 in), Triac, ELV or 0-10V (Single 27.5 in). Send us your dimmer model and we will help you confirm the match before you order.

Can the LED in the Soji be replaced?

The 13 inch, 18 inch and single versions have an integrated LED rated for 50,000 hours that ET2 does not list as replaceable, so plan on it as a permanent light source. The 2-light versions use G9 lamps, which can be replaced.

Where can I install the Soji?

It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms with a shower and out of covered patios. The canopy suits sloped ceilings up to 90 degrees. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
