Drawn for sohoConcept, the et al. Uni 386 Wood Bar Stool treats a stool as something to be looked at as much as used, built around a polypropylene shell on beech frame with footrest. The construction is contract grade, so it is as suited to a busy restaurant as to a dining room.

The Design Story

Since 2000, sohoConcept has worked from one idea: strip a piece back to what matters, then build it to last. That clean-lined language is equally at home in a residence or a hotel; the studio's furniture has been specified for W Hotels New York, Aloft Brooklyn and the Delta Hotels in Toronto.
