Drawn by sohoConcept in-house design team for sohoConcept, the Eiffel Max Swivel Counter or Bar Stool treats a stool as something to be looked at as much as used, built around an upholstered on steel tube legs. Behind the quiet lines is contract-grade construction meant for years of daily use.

The Design Story

Since 2000, sohoConcept has worked from one idea: strip a piece back to what matters, then build it to last. That clean-lined language is equally at home in a residence or a hotel; the studio's furniture has been specified for W Hotels New York, Aloft Brooklyn and the Delta Hotels in Toronto.

Inside, the stool is built on a steel frame with S-shaped springs, molded injected polyurethane foam. The base is steel tube legs with swivel, in black, polished stainless steel, walnut veneer or brass. Each one is made in Türkiye. The Eiffel Max Swivel Counter or Bar Stool comes from sohoConcept's in-house design team and is built to the same contract standard as the rest of the collection.

Living With It

Clean leather-look and leather seats with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a little mild soap, then dry them. Vacuum woven fabrics with a soft brush attachment and blot spills straight away; never rub. Keep wood away from direct heat and sun, and dust it with a dry cloth. Wipe metal with a dry microfiber cloth; skip scouring pads.
