Base finishes
Drawn by Namik Ozkaynak for sohoConcept, the Daisy Marble Counter Table treats a table as something to be looked at as much as used, built around a 28 in marble top on 5-star steel pedestal. Behind the quiet lines is contract-grade construction meant for years of daily use.
The Design Story
sohoConcept was founded in 2000 around a short brief: design down to the essentials, and let long-term durability and quality show through a clean-lined form language. The same pieces are made for homes and for contract interiors, and the studio's work has furnished W Hotels and the Paramount Hotel in New York, The Atlantis in the Bahamas and the CN Tower in Toronto.
The base is daisy 5-star steel base with 32 in (82 cm) counter post, 3.5 in (8.9 cm) diameter, polished stainless steel. Each one is made in Türkiye. Namik Ozkaynak designed the Daisy for sohoConcept and offers the one silhouette on a choice of bases and heights, so the same design can carry from a dining room to a kitchen counter or a lounge.
