Capsule is a bath vanity light from Maxim Lighting. It comes in 4 sizes: 18 x 5 in, 24 x 5 in, 30 x 5 in and 36 x 5 in. Satin White shade is paired with a choice of Black / Natural Aged Brass or Polished Chrome.
The Design Story
Capsule encloses a convex curve of satin white glass between two end caps to form a soft oval. The integrated LED sits inside the glass, and a discreet switch lets you choose from five color temperatures, warm 2700K through cooler neutrals. Finishes are a bold black with natural aged brass, or polished chrome, for hallways and above bath vanities.
Why You’ll Love It
An integrated LED does the work, so there are no bulbs to change; it puts out 500 to 1200 lumens. A switch lets you choose the color temperature at install, from warm to cool white. Maxim rates the LED for 35,000 hours. Maxim rates it for Triac dimming. ADA compliant. Materials: steel.

How high should I mount it?
Over a mirror, a vanity light usually goes about 75 to 80 in from the floor, centered above the mirror. Beside a mirror, mount a pair at about eye level. It extends 3.25 in (8.3 cm) from the wall.
Can it go in a bathroom or outdoors?
It is damp rated, so it can go in bathrooms away from direct water and in covered outdoor spaces like porches.
