Drawn by Namik Ozkaynak for sohoConcept, the Calvin Condo Coffee Table treats a coffee table as something to be looked at as much as used, built around a narrow Carrara marble on polished steel. The construction is contract grade, so it is as suited to a busy restaurant as to a dining room.
The Design Story
Since 2000, sohoConcept has worked from one idea: strip a piece back to what matters, then build it to last. That clean-lined language is equally at home in a residence or a hotel; the studio's furniture has been specified for W Hotels New York, Aloft Brooklyn and the Delta Hotels in Toronto.
Inside, the coffee table is built on two polished (bright) stainless steel end frames. Namik Ozkaynak designed the Calvin for sohoConcept and offers the one silhouette on a choice of bases and heights, so the same design can carry from a dining room to a kitchen counter or a lounge.

Use coasters on stone and wipe acidic spills such as wine or citrus at once. Wipe metal with a dry microfiber cloth; skip scouring pads.
