The Design Story
Thöming, an industrial designer at Germany’s Flöz Design, first drew CALMA as a concrete-and-glass candle lantern. CALMA LED keeps that quiet cylinder of satin glass and hides a rechargeable LED in the base, so the glow goes where the outlet doesn’t.
Three light colors and stepless dimming let one lantern move from a bright dinner setting to a low, warm glow late in the evening.

Made for Real Life
Wipe the glass and base with a soft cloth. Charge it indoors or under cover with the USB-C cable from the box, and bring it in when a storm rolls through: IP44 means splash-proof, not waterproof. Pair it with the CALMA Hurricane or the FAROL Mini Lamp.

How many evenings will one charge last?
Between 6.5 and 32.5 hours of light for the Medium and Large, depending on brightness, so several relaxed evenings on a low setting.
Is it suitable for a terrace?
Yes, under cover. The IP44 rating protects it from splashes; we would not leave it out in a downpour.
Is it bright enough to read by?
It is a mood light: 130 lumens for the Medium and 120 for the Large.
Can I make the light warmer or cooler?
Yes, choose from three settings between 2700K and 4000K and dim smoothly in between.
Which base color should I pick?
Silk Grey is light and blends with pale woods and white tables; Granite Grey is darker and disappears on black furniture and stone.
