What’s Included

One item per option: one Bulb, one Bulblite, one BULB charger or one BULBLITE charger. Both chargers take 100 to 240V input and output 5V DC. Match the charger to the engine: the BULB charger is for lamps with a BULB system and is not suitable for BULBLITE lamps, and the BULBLITE charger is for lamps with a BULBLITE system and is not suitable for BULB lamps. The lamps themselves do not include a charger, so these are the accessories to add.

The Design Story

Smart & Green is a French lighting brand built around cordless, rechargeable light. Its General Manager, Peter Wildhorn, puts the idea this way in the brand’s 2025 catalog: “Light should be nomad and SMART AND GREEN is designing new uses for it.” The Bulb and Bulblite are where that idea lives inside every lamp: a rechargeable, Bluetooth-controlled light engine that lets a plain white shell go anywhere and glow any color.

The Bulb has a 3.7V, 2200 mAh Li-Ion battery and 120 lumens, for the larger lamps. The Bulblite has a 3.7V, 850 mAh Li-Ion battery and 90 lumens, for the small lamps. Smart & Green rates run time at 6 to 8 hours per charge, so charge during the day and enjoy the evening with no cord to hide or trip over.

Which charger do I need?

Use the charger that matches your lamp’s system. The BULB charger is for lamps with a BULB system and is not suitable for BULBLITE lamps. The BULBLITE charger is for lamps with a BULBLITE system and is not suitable for BULB lamps.

How long does a charge last?

Smart & Green rates run time at 6 to 8 hours per charge.

Do the lamps come with a charger?
