With the Bottega DR-Wood Counter or Bar Stool, sohoConcept set out to make an everyday stool feel tailored: a solid wood legs with ring footrest. Behind the quiet lines is contract-grade construction meant for years of daily use.

The Design Story

sohoConcept began in 2000 with a focus on the essentials: lasting construction, honest materials and a clean line. Its collection moves easily between residential rooms and contract projects, from the Paramount Hotel in Manhattan to Milos restaurant in Miami and The Atlantis resort in the Bahamas.

Inside, the stool is built on a steel frame with S-shaped springs, molded injected polyurethane foam. The base is solid wood with metal ring footrest; beech walnut finish with chrome or gold footrest, or American walnut with chrome footrest. Each one is made in Türkiye.

Living With It

Clean leather-look and leather seats with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a little mild soap, then dry them. Vacuum woven fabrics with a soft brush attachment and blot spills straight away; never rub. Keep wood away from direct heat and sun, and dust it with a dry cloth. Wipe metal with a dry microfiber cloth; skip scouring pads.
