Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry seat. PPM, PPM-FR and S-PPM are polyurethane performance leathers; velvet, boucle and Camira Era are upholstery fabrics. Camira Blazer wool and Italian leather are the premium seats. The high back is offered in every seat except the PPM leathers. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

With the Bottega Arm Office Chair, sohoConcept and Tayfur Ozkaynak set out to make an everyday office chair feel tailored: a sprung armchair seat on five-star tilt base. Behind the quiet lines is contract-grade construction meant for years of daily use.

The Design Story

sohoConcept began in 2000 with a focus on the essentials: lasting construction, honest materials and a clean line. Its collection moves easily between residential rooms and contract projects, from the Paramount Hotel in Manhattan to Milos restaurant in Miami and The Atlantis resort in the Bahamas.

Inside, the office chair is built on a steel frame with S-shaped springs, molded injected polyurethane foam. The base is five-star full-tilt office base with gas lift, swivel and casters; chrome, black or gold, 25.5 in (64.8 cm) across, or aluminum, 26 in (66 cm) across. Each one is made in Türkiye. Tayfur Ozkaynak designed the Bottega for sohoConcept and offers the one silhouette on a choice of bases and heights, so the same design can carry from a dining room to a kitchen counter or a lounge.

About the Designer

Tayfur Ozkaynak designed many of the chairs and stools in the sohoConcept collection. The Bottega Arm Office Chair is one of them, and, like his other work for the studio, it pairs a carefully shaped seat with a choice of bases and heights so a single silhouette can run through a whole project.

Living With It

Clean leather-look and leather seats with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a little mild soap, then dry them. Vacuum woven fabrics with a soft brush attachment and blot spills straight away; never rub. Wipe metal with a dry microfiber cloth; skip scouring pads.
