Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry seat. PPM and S-PPM are polyurethane performance leathers, the off-white boucle is a soft looped fabric and Camira Era is a woven contract fabric. Camira Blazer is a pure new wool contract cloth. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

The Bottega Arm Large Office Chair by Tayfur Ozkaynak is sohoConcept's take on the office chair as a crafted object: a lounge armchair on five-star base. Behind the quiet lines is contract-grade construction meant for years of daily use.

The Design Story

sohoConcept was founded in 2000 around a short brief: design down to the essentials, and let long-term durability and quality show through a clean-lined form language. The same pieces are made for homes and for contract interiors, and the studio's work has furnished W Hotels and the Paramount Hotel in New York, The Atlantis in the Bahamas and the CN Tower in Toronto.

Inside, the office chair is built on a steel frame with S-shaped springs, molded injected polyurethane foam. The base is five-star full-tilt office base with gas lift, swivel and casters; chrome, black or gold, 25.5 in (64.8 cm) across, or the A2-L aluminum base, 26 in (66 cm) across, which sits lower. Each one is made in Türkiye. Tayfur Ozkaynak designed the Bottega for sohoConcept and offers the one silhouette on a choice of bases and heights, so the same design can carry from a dining room to a kitchen counter or a lounge.

Tayfur Ozkaynak designed many of the chairs and stools in the sohoConcept collection. The Bottega Arm Large Office Chair is one of them, and, like his other work for the studio, it pairs a carefully shaped seat with a choice of bases and heights so a single silhouette can run through a whole project.

Clean leather-look and leather seats with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a little mild soap, then dry them. Vacuum woven fabrics with a soft brush attachment and blot spills straight away; never rub. Wipe metal with a dry microfiber cloth; skip scouring pads.
