Size and Finish. Walnut, wenge oak and natural ash are real wood finishes over an MDF core; white and grey are lacquered finishes. Wood grain varies from top to top, and screens show color slightly differently than real life.
Top finishes
The Bosphorus Rectangular Wood Table Top by Tayfur Ozkaynak is sohoConcept's take on the table as a crafted object: a 71, 79 or 94 in, 2 in thick. Behind the quiet lines is contract-grade construction meant for years of daily use.
The Design Story
sohoConcept began in 2000 with a focus on the essentials: lasting construction, honest materials and a clean line. Its collection moves easily between residential rooms and contract projects, from the Paramount Hotel in Manhattan to Milos restaurant in Miami and The Atlantis resort in the Bahamas.
Inside, the table is built on a mDF covered with walnut, wenge oak or natural ash, or lacquered. Each one is made in Türkiye. Tayfur Ozkaynak designed the Bosphorus for sohoConcept and offers the one silhouette on a choice of bases and heights, so the same design can carry from a dining room to a kitchen counter or a lounge.
