Color. Choose a black, anthracite or cappuccino frame with matching lamellas. The frame is steel with a cataphoresis coat under powder paint; the seat and back are plastic lamellas that resist water, UV, mildew and rust; the armrests are iroko wood. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.
Drawn for sohoConcept, the Bodrum Stackable Outdoor Armchair treats a armchair as something to be looked at as much as used, built around a steel frame, lamella seat, iroko arms. The construction is contract grade, so it is as suited to a busy restaurant as to a dining room.
The Design Story
sohoConcept was founded in 2000 around a short brief: design down to the essentials, and let long-term durability and quality show through a clean-lined form language. The same pieces are made for homes and for contract interiors, and the studio's work has furnished W Hotels and the Paramount Hotel in New York, The Atlantis in the Bahamas and the CN Tower in Toronto.
Inside, the armchair is built on solid metal, cataphoresis coated and powder painted. Each one is made in Türkiye.
