Bicono 38 Pendant by Sean Lavin for Visual Comfort

The Bicono 38 Pendant by Sean Lavin is the large size of the series, a double cone of carved acrylic split by a slim black band and hung from three fine cords. At 38 inches wide it is made for a long table or a tall, open room. It comes in Nightshade Black.

The Design Story

Visual Comfort says the Bicono 38 Pendant draws from the precision and simplicity of classic 1950s Italian design, reinterpreted with modern engineering and clean geometry. The combed acrylic diffuser softens the light while keeping it clear, and an LED column echoes the profile of a traditional bulb. The color temperature is selectable, so you control the warmth and tone without losing the minimal look.

Why You'll Love It

Bicono 38 is the statement size, made for a long dining table, a large kitchen island, a stair hall or a double-height entry where a single big form can hold the space. The integrated LED gives 3094 lumens at 90 CRI, with a selectable 2200K, 2700K or 3000K color temperature, and it dims on 0-10V, ELV and TRIAC dimmers. The pendant hangs from 192 inch cords with a minimum height of 27.3 inches.

Built for Damp Locations

Visual Comfort lists Bicono 38 Pendant for indoor damp locations and outdoor spaces under cover, such as a covered porch. The frame is aluminum in Nightshade Black, and the shade is carved acrylic that softens the light while keeping its clarity. The LED is integrated, so there are no bulbs to replace.
