Seat upholstery. The Barclay stool seat is black PPM-S, a polyurethane performance leather with a 5-year guarantee that shrugs off spills at the counter. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

With the Barclay Counter or Bar Stool, sohoConcept set out to make an everyday stool feel tailored: a black PPM-S seat on solid ash frame. The construction is contract grade, so it is as suited to a busy restaurant as to a dining room.
The Design Story
Since 2000, sohoConcept has worked from one idea: strip a piece back to what matters, then build it to last. That clean-lined language is equally at home in a residence or a hotel; the studio's furniture has been specified for W Hotels New York, Aloft Brooklyn and the Delta Hotels in Toronto.
Inside, the stool is built on solid ash with stretchers and footrest, walnut finish or black finish.

Where It's Best Placed

Living With It
Clean leather-look and leather seats with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a little mild soap, then dry them. Vacuum woven fabrics with a soft brush attachment and blot spills straight away; never rub. Keep wood away from direct heat and sun, and dust it with a dry cloth.
