B.lux Regina T Halo Table Lamp by Jorge Pensi

Regina T is a slender halo table lamp from B.lux with a wide conical shade that bounces light off the surface below and into the room instead of straight at your eyes. Jorge Pensi drew it as a lean pair of upright stems on a round base, and the shade does the rest of the work.

It is die-cast aluminium, made to order in Spain, and offered in three finishes: shiny aluminium, white and raw.

The Design Story

Jorge Pensi was born in Buenos Aires in 1946 and has worked from Barcelona since 1977, building a career in furniture and lighting. Regina T shows his habit of removing everything that is not needed: two slim stems, a weighted base and one shade. B.lux describes it as an indirect light table lamp crafted of die-cast aluminium, with shades in shiny aluminium and white glass.

Why You'll Love It

The light is soft and indirect, so it reads as a glow on the wall and tabletop rather than a bright spot. The open twin-stem frame keeps the silhouette light on a console or desk. A 9.75 inch footprint fits on a bedside table, sideboard or work surface without taking over.

Made for Real Life

Die-cast aluminium is sturdy and easy to wipe clean. The lamp is UL listed for the US and runs on 120V. It uses two G4 halogen bulbs of up to 20W each, and the bulbs are not included.

Questions We Hear Most

How long does a Regina T take to arrive?

Each lamp is made to order in Spain. B.lux lists a 60-day lead time, and we ship it to you from there.

What bulbs does Regina T use?

Two G4 halogen bulbs, up to 20W each. B.lux specifies 12V. Bulbs are not included.

Does it light up or down?

B.lux calls it an indirect light table lamp. The conical shade reflects the light so it spreads softly instead of shining straight out.

Can I dim it?

B.lux does not publish dimming details for this model, so we cannot promise it. Contact us before you buy if dimming matters to you.

Which finish should I choose?

Aluminium and Raw give a metal look, and White is a painted white. Our photos show the aluminium version.

Why We Love It

It does one thing, soft indirect light, and it does it with very little material. That restraint is the reason it still looks current.
