Frame Small is a outdoor low-level luminaire by Mario Ruiz for B.lux; made to order in Spain.
The Design Story
An outdoor low-level feature luminaire in the shape of a hollow rectangular prism with rounded edges. The structure is made from aluminium and the diffuser from pressed glass. It intensely illuminates the interior hollow and softly, asymmetrically lights the surrounding area. Frame is available in three sizes: S, M and L. Finishes: satin white, forged grey and corten. The Frame Small is the model listed here from B.lux's Frame range. B.lux makes each piece to order in Spain.
Mario Ruiz studied industrial design at the Elisava school in Barcelona. Since 2003 his work has covered a wide range of projects, with lighting a standout (per B.lux).
