Seat upholstery. Athena Wood comes in PPM-FR, a flame-retardant polyurethane performance leather, in black, grey or cinnamon, or in an off-white looped boucle. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.
Leg finishes
Drawn for sohoConcept, the Athena Wood Dining Armchair treats a armchair as something to be looked at as much as used, built around an upholstered tub seat on solid beech legs. It is built to contract standards, for homes as well as restaurants and hotels.
The Design Story
sohoConcept was founded in 2000 around a short brief: design down to the essentials, and let long-term durability and quality show through a clean-lined form language. The same pieces are made for homes and for contract interiors, and the studio's work has furnished W Hotels and the Paramount Hotel in New York, The Atlantis in the Bahamas and the CN Tower in Toronto.
The base is solid beech, walnut or wenge finish; brass rings optional on walnut. Each one is made in Türkiye.

Living With It
Clean leather-look and leather seats with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a little mild soap, then dry them. Vacuum woven fabrics with a soft brush attachment and blot spills straight away; never rub. Keep wood away from direct heat and sun, and dust it with a dry cloth. Wipe metal with a dry microfiber cloth; skip scouring pads.
