Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM, PPM-FR and PPM-S are polyurethane performance leathers, the black boucle is a looped, textured fabric, and Camira Blazer is a woven wool contract fabric. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Drawn for sohoConcept, the Athena Ana Armchair treats a armchair as something to be looked at as much as used, built around an upholstered shell on tapered metal legs with ring. The construction is contract grade, so it is as suited to a busy restaurant as to a dining room.
The Design Story
sohoConcept was founded in 2000 around a short brief: design down to the essentials, and let long-term durability and quality show through a clean-lined form language. The same pieces are made for homes and for contract interiors, and the studio's work has furnished W Hotels and the Paramount Hotel in New York, The Atlantis in the Bahamas and the CN Tower in Toronto.
Inside, the armchair is built on a steel frame with S-shaped springs, molded injected polyurethane foam. The base is four tapered steel legs with a connecting ring, in walnut veneer with chrome, black with brass, or black with chrome. Each one is made in Türkiye.

At the head of a dining table, by a writing desk, or in a hotel suite.
Living With It
Clean leather-look and leather seats with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a little mild soap, then dry them. Vacuum woven fabrics with a soft brush attachment and blot spills straight away; never rub. Keep wood away from direct heat and sun, and dust it with a dry cloth. Wipe metal with a dry microfiber cloth; skip scouring pads.
