The Design Story

Array is inspired by the eclectic charm of 1960s Italy, and CTO says the collection marries vintage aesthetics with contemporary design. Rotating arms and hand-blown opal shades let each piece pivot and be repositioned, so it is familiar yet modern.

The Story of CTO Lighting

Chris and Clare Turner founded CTO Lighting in London in 1998 on one principle: design lights of uncompromising quality, using only the finest materials and working with elite British craftsmen. How It Was Made

CTO assembles every Array light to order in England. The metalwork is solid brass that is bronzed and hand waxed, with brass detailing, and the shades are hand-blown opal glass.

The Finishes

Bronze. Deep, rich color and a robust build bring a touch of historical weight to a modern room, with a warm, inviting glow.

Satin Brass Details. Satin brass detailing contrasts with the bronzed metalwork and adds a warm, golden accent.

Shiny Opal Glass. Opal glass has a soft translucency that diffuses the light evenly and hides the bulb, with a smooth, glossy surface.
