The Design Story

Anaconda is Egoluce's most playful idea: a 16-foot silicone tube that glows all the way around and bends into whatever line you draw. This kit is the complete, ready-to-install version with the tube, a straight methacrylate section, both end caps, five suspension kits and the 48V driver for 110V, so an electrician can hang it as a loop, a wave or a word.

Egoluce was founded in 1978 in Pero, just outside Milan, by three friends with a lighting background, and it still makes everything in Italy with local companies and artisans. Special versions and sister products from the Anaconda family are available to order through us.

When will my Anaconda ship?

Every Anaconda is built to order at Egoluce's factory in Italy. Please allow 9 to 11 weeks for delivery. We confirm your ship date by email once it is ordered.

Warm or neutral: what light does the Anaconda give?

You pick: 2700K is the warmest, like an incandescent bulb; 3000K is a soft warm white that suits most homes; 4000K is a cooler, daylight-leaning white for work and retail. All versions use CRI >90 LEDs.

What are the measurements of the Anaconda?

196.9" kit: 196.9" (500 cm) tube, about 1" dia.. Suspension kits included (5). The line drawing in the gallery shows every dimension.

Does the Anaconda work with a dimmer?

Egoluce's US file says yes. Because the dimming protocol is not published, message us with your dimmer model and we will check it with Egoluce first.

Is the Anaconda made in Italy?

Yes. Egoluce has made 100% Made-in-Italy lighting near Milan since 1978, working with Italian companies and artisans. The Anaconda was designed by Design Lux Studio in 2024.
