Drawn for sohoConcept, the Alice Wood Armchair treats a armchair as something to be looked at as much as used, built around a grey-black boucle on beech legs with chrome rings. The construction is contract grade, so it is as suited to a busy restaurant as to a dining room.
The Design Story
sohoConcept was founded in 2000 around a short brief: design down to the essentials, and let long-term durability and quality show through a clean-lined form language. The same pieces are made for homes and for contract interiors, and the studio's work has furnished W Hotels and the Paramount Hotel in New York, The Atlantis in the Bahamas and the CN Tower in Toronto.
The base is solid beech, walnut finish, with chrome rings. Each one is made in Türkiye.

At the head of a dining table, by a writing desk, or in a hotel suite.
Living With It
Clean leather-look and leather seats with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a little mild soap, then dry them. Vacuum woven fabrics with a soft brush attachment and blot spills straight away; never rub. Keep wood away from direct heat and sun, and dust it with a dry cloth. Wipe metal with a dry microfiber cloth; skip scouring pads.

Yes, it can be made in customer's own material: 1.8 yd of fabric (1.65 m) or 32 sq ft of leather (2.97 m²). Please contact us with your fabric before ordering.
