Agnoli is a slim table lamp with a bulb body that slides along a thin stem, drawn from a 1954 design by Tito Agnoli and reissued by Oluce as a table version in 2025.
It comes in 2 finishes: satin nickel structure like the original model, and a new satin black nickel version. Both stand on a matt black base.
The Design Story
Oluce, founded in Milan in 1945, brought the Agnoli back as a table lamp that keeps the essential form of the original. The luminaire body is mounted on a sliding mechanism, so you can move the light up and down the stem and set it where you read or work. Oluce describes it as a piece that lives through time, joining the original design with the precision of the lamp body, functionality and aesthetics together.
The Story
Created in 1954 and named after its designer, the Agnoli lamp began as a floor lamp. The table version follows the same logic at a smaller scale: one thin stem, one round bulb and almost nothing else. The satin nickel finish matches the original model, and the satin black nickel finish is new.
The Designers
Tito Agnoli was born in Lima, Peru, in 1931 to an Italian family and moved to Italy after the war. He trained as a painter, studied architecture and graduated in 1959. By the early 1950s he was designing for makers such as Arflex, Cinova, Lema, Oluce and Poltrona Frau. He was put forward several times for the Compasso d’Oro and won the gold medal at Neocon in Chicago in 1986. Some of his pieces are in the permanent collection of MoMA. He died in Milan in 2012.
“A piece that lives through time…”

How It Was Made
Oluce makes the Agnoli table lamp in Italy in metal. The base and stem are lacquered metal, and the reflector is matt nickel-plated and height adjustable, so you can slide the luminaire body to the height you need. The lamp ships with its G9 LED bulb included.

Why You’ll Love It
Agnoli gives you precise, direct light on a desk, a bedside table or a console, and the sliding body lets you place it where you need it. The slim stem and round bulb take up very little room, and the bulb is included, so you can plug it in and use it right away.
Made for Real Life
The lamp uses one 10W G9 LED bulb, which is included, and it is not dimmable. Dust the metal with a soft dry cloth and avoid abrasive or solvent cleaners.
