For Carmine Deganello, a lamp begins with a material and an experiment. Based in Amsterdam and Milan, he has worked with Pablo for years, and his designs have been exhibited at Milan’s Triennale Design Museum and Vienna’s MAK. Founder Pablo Pardo shaped the concept with the team. The Pablo Studio, the brand’s in-house team in San Francisco, engineered and refined it.

The Design Story
Talia was designed for Pablo Designs by Carmine Deganello, a Milan-based experimental product and architectural designer whose practice is driven by research into materials, working with the Pablo Studio in San Francisco. The brief was a minimal, personal-sized LED companion: a slim post and a thin rectangular shade that rotate independently, so one lamp can be a focused task light or a soft ambient glow. Monochrome finishes play matte against gloss, and metallic posts add a refined accent.
