Maxim Lighting Acadia Seedy Glass Wall Sconce

Acadia is a wall sconce from Maxim Lighting. It measures 5 in (12.7 cm) wide by 10.5 in (26.7 cm) high, extending 6.5 in (16.5 cm) from the wall. Seedy glass is paired with a choice of Black, Satin Nickel or Natural Aged Brass.

The Design Story

Acadia gathers clear seeded glass into bell shapes and hangs them from a restrained steel frame, bending the tubing so the cluster feels naturally supported. Bobeches and small metal details echo the same bell profile, which gives the whole family a unified, familiar rhythm across chandelier, mini pendant and larger pendants. Tiny bubbles in the glass scatter incandescent light into a sparkling, vintage-leaning glow. Black, heritage, natural aged brass and satin nickel finishes let it lean traditional or quietly transitional.

Why You’ll Love It

It takes E26 Medium bulbs up to 60W per socket, which makes it easy to choose your own color temperature and brightness. Maxim rates it for Triac or ELV dimming, so pair it with dimmable bulbs. It can be mounted facing up or down, to suit the room. Materials: steel, glass.

Where It Shines

Flanking a bed or a mirror, lining a hallway or stair, beside a fireplace or framing a doorway. A wall sconce adds a layer of light at eye level, which makes a room feel warmer than ceiling light alone, and it frees up nightstand and floor space.
