The Design Story

Peter Ellis and David Skelley designed the Margarita in 1999. Its leaning glass form was one of the first NEOZ designs to show that a cordless lamp could be a sculpture too.

Why You’ll Love It

It has movement: the glass seems to be caught mid-curve. On a white tablecloth it glows like a sail at sunset. It is a conversation piece that still gives beautifully soft light.

The Cordless Advantage

Going cordless changes how you light a room: you place the glow where you want it, then move it when the evening moves outside. The Margarita runs up to 17.5 hours on high and up to 55 hours on low, and recharges in about 3.5 hours on its base. Inside is a Panasonic lithium-ion battery built for hundreds of cycles and designed to be swapped, not thrown away, which is why NEOZ lamps from decades ago are still in service.

How do I charge the Margarita?

Set it on a NEOZ charging base, tray or station. Select “Charging Base: Included” if you don’t have one yet. A full charge takes about 3.5 hours.

Where can I use the Margarita?

Indoors and outdoors: open-air terraces, gardens and poolside tables; never submerge. Its rating is IP64.

What warranty comes with the Margarita?

Five years on materials and workmanship from NEOZ, and one year on the battery. Parts are replaceable, and NEOZ services its lamps for the long term.
