The Design Story
Fabio A P Cristini and Darran Prior of There’s Light distilled their approach to light into a compact, functional object, developed with NEOZ designers James Perry and Gabriel Tam. It glows in warm candle light at 1800K and received an Honorable Mention at the 2025 LIT Lighting Design Awards.
Why You’ll Love It
It is small, heavy and precious: a block of glowing glass on a brass plinth that looks different every year as the brass ages. With only 60 made, it is as much a collector’s piece as a lamp.
The Cordless Advantage
Going cordless changes how you light a room: you place the glow where you want it, then move it when the evening moves outside. The Corner Light runs up to 17.5 hours on high, 30 on medium and 55 on low, and recharges in about 3.5 hours on its base. Inside is a Panasonic lithium-ion battery built for hundreds of cycles and designed to be swapped, not thrown away, which is why NEOZ lamps from decades ago are still in service.

Why choose a cordless Corner Light over a candle or a plug-in lamp?
No flame, smoke or wax, and no cable to hide: the Corner Light gives the same warm glow night after night, wherever you set it, then recharges on its base.
How do I charge the Corner Light?
Set it on its N1 charging base (included, according to NEOZ) or any NEOZ charging tray or station. A full charge takes about 3.5 hours.
