The Design Story
Thöming sized the sugar bowl to sit beside the creamer, two small steel forms that read as a pair. Thöming, an industrial designer at Germany’s Flöz Design, kept BASIC deliberately plain so the pieces mix with any tableware you already own.
Brushed steel, straight lines and nothing extra: BASIC is the quiet backbone of a well-set breakfast table.

Made for Real Life
Wash in warm, soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. blomus does not list this piece as dishwasher safe, so our advice is to wash it by hand. Stainless steel does not take on flavors or odors, so the same piece moves from butter to jam to nuts without a second thought. Pairs well with the BASIC creamer, BASIC steel tray and BASIC snack bowl.
