The Design Story
Martens shrank the CEOLA silhouette, inspired by Japanese metal vases, into a trio and gave it a glossy glaze for a lighter mood. Martens, who trained in glass and ceramics in Halle, borrowed the rounded silhouette of traditional Japanese metal vases and gave every CEOLA the same narrow mouth.
Round, calm and slightly rough to the touch, CEOLA turns one stem or a bare twig into a still life.

Made for Real Life
Wipe the outside with a damp cloth; rinse the inside with warm water and a bottle brush between arrangements. Small bumps, slight color differences and visible lines come from the making process, so every CEOLA is a little different. Pairs well with the CEOLA vase, MIYABI low ikebana bowl and MIYABI tall ikebana vase.
