Our take: black gives a crisp, graphic outline; brass brings warmth to wood and earthy tones; nickel feels bright and luminous.

Yes: it gives about 397 lumens at 90 CRI in 3000K, so skin tones look true. Used in pairs at face height, sconces keep shadows off the face.
