Questions We Hear Most
What is the idea behind the Esfera Large?
Kelly Wearstler designed it so that it is a bold row of etched crystal globes for the vanity. It belongs to Visual Comfort's Esfera family, which comes in several sizes and versions.
Which Esfera Large finish suits my bathroom?
Our take: black gives a crisp, graphic outline; brass brings warmth to wood and earthy tones; nickel feels bright and luminous.
Is the Esfera Large flattering for makeup and shaving?
Yes: it gives about 3,142 lumens at 90 CRI in 2700K, so skin tones look true. A bar above the mirror lights the whole face evenly.
Which vanity suits the Esfera Large?
Pick a bar about two-thirds to three-quarters the width of your mirror: at 36″, a mirror roughly 48–55″ wide.
Is the Esfera Large safe in a steamy bathroom?
Yes, it is damp rated, so steam is fine; just keep it out of the shower spray.
Will I ever change a bulb in the Esfera Large?
No bulbs to change: the LED is built in and rated for 50,000 hours.
How is the Esfera Large installed?
It is hardwired to a wall junction box by an electrician.
How soon can the Esfera Large arrive?
All the versions we offer are in stock right now, and in-stock pieces usually leave within 2–3 business days.
