Our take: brass brings warmth to wood and earthy tones; nickel feels bright and luminous; bronze is rich and moody.
Is the Capa 18 flattering for makeup and shaving?
Yes: it gives about 168 lumens at 90 CRI in 3000K-1800K, so skin tones look true. A bar above the mirror lights the whole face evenly.
Which vanity suits the Capa 18?
Pick a bar about two-thirds to three-quarters the width of your mirror: at 18″, a mirror roughly 24–27″ wide.
Is the Capa 18 safe in a steamy bathroom?
Yes, it is damp rated, so steam is fine; just keep it out of the shower spray.
