What bulbs does the Hope Natural Table Lamp take, and how bright is it?

It takes one A-shape bulb with an E26 base, up to 40W incandescent (TOV). It is LED-compatible (TOV), and an LED uses a fraction of the power for the same light. Bulbs are not included (TOV), so order a bulb with it. With the brightest bulb TOV allows (40W incandescent) it gives about 450 lumens (our estimate from standard bulb ratings): enough for reading close by, or a warm ambient glow (our guide: about 450 lumens = a 40W-equivalent bulb, 800 = 60W-equivalent; reading is comfortable at about 450–800 lumens at the lamp). TOV does not list it as dimmable. Never exceed the maximum wattage TOV lists.
