The Design Story

TOV Furniture designs pieces that bring boutique-hotel character into everyday homes, and the Guinevere lamp follows that approach. The material does the talking: the cotton diffuses the light into a soft glow. Skillfully Handmade (TOV).

Why You'll Love It

The fabric shade softens the bulb into a warm, diffused glow. The switch sits on the cord, so you can turn it on without reaching under the shade. It is LED-compatible, so a cool-running, low-energy bulb gives the same glow. No tools are involved: it comes out of the box ready to use.

Made for Real Life

Keep it looking fresh: switch it off and unplug it, then let the bulb cool before you clean it; dust the fabric with a lint roller or a vacuum brush attachment and spot-clean gently; wipe metal with a dry microfiber cloth and skip abrasive cleaners.

Where It Shines

It shines in bedrooms, living rooms and entryways, on a console, a dresser, a buffet or a bookshelf. Pair two on a console, a dresser or either side of the bed, and use a warm (2700K) bulb for a cozy glow (our advice).

Our guide puts the bottom of the shade near seated eye level (about 38–42" off the floor; lamp and table together about 58–64"), so it suits a low side table or a windowsill as an accent light. TOV does not list it as dimmable. Never exceed the maximum wattage TOV lists.
