The Design Story
“Tempio Light draws its inspiration from Japanese temples, from their calm philosophy, their colors, and portico forms.” – Atelier Oï Tempio’s clean lines and simple structure resemble an ancient Japanese temple, and give the same sense of order and calm. Two beams sit atop a flat bar to support the diffuser, which rests on top like a slightly curved roof.

Atelier Oï: Founded by a trio of Swiss multi-disciplinary designers, atelier oi have collectively focused their practice on shaping materials to form filtered through emotion for over 20 years.
