The Design Story

Per Weiss drew the Neah family in 2023 around one idea: a sleeper sofa that never looks like one. Clean upholstered lines, dark lacquered oak legs and loose fiber-filled back cushions give the Neah Leather the presence of a classic living-room sofa, while the bed hides in plain sight.

How does the Neah Leather open into a bed?

Flip it into lounger mode and the whole family can stretch out for movie night; padded arms you can actually lean on. The finished sleeping surface is 63" x 77".

What does the Neah Leather feel like to sit and sleep on?

It uses Innovation Living's Double Spring system with a soft feel. The back cushions are filled with 100% fiberfill.

What is the difference between the two leathers on the Neah Leather?

Iowa (colors 710, 711, 713) is a corrected-grain leather, 0.9–1.1 mm thick. Martel (920, 921, 923) is a thicker 1.4 mm semi-aniline leather with a more natural surface. Both have Innovation Living's Pro treatment and are special order.

Is the Neah Leather made with healthier materials?

Yes. Its foam is certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances, and many of the fabrics are OEKO-TEX certified as well.
